At the Nigeria Association of the Blind, Lagos Chapter—the largest NAB chapter in Nigeria—our goal is to create an environment where every member, staff member, and visitor feels welcome, comfortable, and empowered to thrive.

We are proud to share how a key partnership is helping us achieve that vision.

Through a generous charitable donation from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), the Association has revamped the NAB Lagos office.

This project has transformed our workspace into a more conducive, comfortable, and accessible environment for members and visitors. With improved lighting, seating, and accessible facilities, the renovated office reflects our commitment to dignity, inclusion, and service.

For many of our blind and partially sighted members who visit regularly for meetings, training, and support services, this upgrade means they can now navigate and use the office with greater ease, safety, and pride.

PWC’s support did not stop at infrastructure.

The charitable donation has also enabled the Association to acquire new tools and equipment that directly enhance our productivity and service delivery.

These resources are helping us to:

  • Streamline administrative work and record-keeping.
  • Improve communication and accessibility services for members.
  • Support training and empowerment programmes more efficiently.
  • Reduce manual workload so staff and volunteers can focus more on member care.

With these tools, we are better equipped to respond to the needs of hundreds of members across Lagos and to deliver programmes that build self-reliance. This charitable donation has done more than revamp our workspace. It has renewed hope, strengthened our capacity, and affirmed that inclusion is possible when organisations choose to invest in people.

By supporting both our physical space and our tools for work, PWC has shown true leadership in disability inclusion and community impact. Through this partnership, you are helping the largest NAB chapter in Nigeria serve better.

Building more together

We celebrate PWC for setting this example. We also invite other corporate organisations, philanthropists, and well-meaning individuals to partner with the Nigeria Association of the Blind, Lagos Chapter.

Your support can help us reach more members, expand our programmes, and continue building accessible spaces where persons with visual impairment can live and work without limitation.
